How Blue Water helped DCTV become a true community forum.

DCTV was created as a community space for people to be seen and heard. But their website didn’t reflect this connection to the community. DCTV charged Blue Water with developing a new brand identity and website as the first step toward evolving their positioning into their digital presence.

With a focus on live-streaming video, bold graphics, and social media, Blue Water created a visually engaging website reflecting not only the colors and flat design style of the new brand image, but also the needs of their primary target audience (13 – 30). Collaborating with ReactJS, Blue Water helped create a seamless user experience across multiple platforms.

The Results:


The positive response of the youth community has been immediate and encouraging. With a bounce rate down 30%, average session duration up by 28%, and average time on the page up by 12%, DCTV is really what it was created to be, a forum in which local voices can be seen and heard.
