ALTHA Launches an Innovative New Website to Highlight its Hospital Advocacy Services
With the assistance of web design firm, Blue Water Media, ALTHA launches a new website to promote client engagement and boost its hospital advocacy services.
Washington, DC – (June 1, 2010) Acute Long Term Hospital Association, ALTHA, launched a new website today to bring its hospital advocacy services to life. The website allows ALTHA to interact with its key stakeholders on a new level allowing for increased collaboration and more targeted advocacy services. Hospitals, vendors, and health care professionals alike will benefit from ALTHA’s new website.
The new website combines aesthetically appealing graphics with informative links to streamline users to their page of interest. The homepage’s simple but elegant layout allows for a user friendly and enjoyable experience. The site’s main toolbar features links to: Who We Are, What We Do, Why We Are Unique, and How to Join. Each link leads to a wealth of information regarding the company’s services and points of differentiation. The homepage also features a sidebar with tools including: Attend Our Conferences, Find a Post-Acute Care Job, Find LTAC Hospitals, and Find Allied Vendors. Users will enjoy the website’s new layout and site architecture.
To make the website more interactive, Blue Water Media installed a number of custom features. To allow ALTHA to connect with its users, Blue Water Media installed Joomla, an award-winning content management system. Joomla enables its clients to update and build their websites over a user-friendly interface. Blue Water Media also installed a custom member log in section that provides resources for hospital members and allied vendors. The hospital members’ section includes portals for the board of directors, board of independent hospitals, and clinical committee. Members can post jobs, upload advertisements, read the latest news, and interact with ALTHA. Additional site benefits include online conference registration and custom searches for items such as jobs, hospitals, and vendors.
