Google Begins to Engage Agencies
Google launched a new program in January 2011 aimed at helping digital agencies, webmasters, web designers, SEO experts, and marketing consultants maximize their returns on Google AdWords. This resource–rich program is named Google Engage. Google has always been proactive about providing training on how to use their various web applications and products through online tutorials, web forums, and webinars. Now Google Engage takes these efforts offline, bringing a rare human element to the world of Google platforms and digital advertising.
Always a step ahead of the curve, the Blue Water Media Marketing team was able to grab passes to a Google Engage Master Class held in New York City.
Taught by Google certified trainers Anastasia Holden and David Booth, we received exclusive Google tips and tricks from the experts. We spent the day submerged in the Goog-iverse, networking with other internet marketing professionals from all over the East Coast. The crowd ranged from SEO experts to AdWords newbies. Topics ranged from the importance of Conversion Tracking to the “Magic Ad Rank Formula” Google search engines use. It was a full day of presentations, but everyone perked up right away when they presented some surprising consumer statistics.
Did you know that 94% of consumers research products online?
Did you know that more than 75% of the population searches online before AND during their shopping trip?
The day ended with some advice on how to become a Google Certified Partner, cocktail hour, and lots of Google swag for us.
Google Engage hosts these members-only Master Classes in other major cities in the U.S., and is beginning to hold these live events in Israel and around the world.
