The Brief
The Association for Accessible Medicines (AMM), formerly the Generic Pharmaceutical Association, works to improve access to safe, quality, and effective medicine for all, particularly in the areas of generics and biosimilars. The AAM engaged Blue Water for a website replatform and help with shifting the focus of the messaging from the drugs themselves to the patients who benefit from them.
The Solution
“Reaching audiences in a way that is simple, easy and relatable” was the motivation behind the colorful, modern Blue Water-designed and developed website, led by Creative Director, Jen Koscielniak. In addition, a series of hard-hitting, yet simple messaging concepts was developed and strategically deployed throughout the site help both inform and educate AAM’s audiences, plus reinforce the incontrovertible fact that generics make up 89% of prescriptions dispensed, but only account for 26% of total drug costs.
The Outcome
The newly designed and replatformed website took the top spot in the 2017 Acquia Engage Awards program, chosen for its demonstrated level of advanced visual design, functionality, integration and overall experience. “Winning sites set themselves apart in how they grabbed our attention and made us want to learn more,” said CMSWire’s Dom Nicastro, one of the award program jurors.
