Marriott’s ever growing global sales force, and its commitment to provide career planning and advancement tools for its staff, resulted in the need for an interactive web-based career services suite that could be supported on any desktop or mobile platform. Blue Water was duly charged with creating a website that could function as a resource library of information, as well as implement GRO, Marriott’s proprietary and fully interactive logic-based career mapping tool.
Blue Water developed a strategy for communicating the full offerings of the GRO portal on a digital platform, presenting a new outline for the main site and a new site architecture plan.
The main site and the proprietary custom career-aggregating tool (GRO) is being utilized with great effect. In the first six months post launch, the Marriott GRO portal has seen over 400% growth in users and a 94% increase in pageviews. The portal has been a valuable resource for Marriott and engagement metrics continue to increase.
